Since I first walked in Starbucks, I was amazed with the taste of their coffee, I also liked how they have setup the inside of the coffee shops.

It´s a a great experience to go and have a zip of coffee while reading a book or magazine or just go and watch people enjoying the experience and relax our mind.

I remember that the first time I saw the word venti was at Starbucks and I asked the barista which size it was and told me that was the biggest one they had, so I ordered my drink in a Venti size.

I also enjoy that many Starbucks are next to book stores like Barnes and Noble and they even have a special door from Starbucks to the book stores, that is so convenient, so many times I bought a magazine or book and I read it at Starbucks.

Once, while I was at Barnes and Noble I saw the book Pour Your Heart Into It, I started reading it and immediately fell in love with it and bough it.

You have to understand that many people that has a business do not have the gift of writing nor know how to embody their ideas in text, well Howard Schultz is not one of them, he does know how to write and not only that, he keeps you interested in the subjects until you finish the book.

Howard actually puts his heart into it when writing the book, you can feel each and one of his experiences.

The book is about his life since he was a child until he finished building Starbucks.

He had a very rough childhood, as his dad also had it rough and made money for the family to live day by day.

Howard studied hard and got his degree, soon started working in a company were he did fairly well.

Once he got inside a coffee shop, Starbucks but he explains that wasn´t the Starbucks that you know now, it was just a small shop in Seattle, Washington that only sold coffee beans.

He talked to his family and let them knew he was going to leave his job to be part of Starbucks, nobody agreed with him and asked him, why he was going to leave his job to work in that small place.

Schultz was amazed by the smell of the coffee beans and immediately wanted to be a part of that incredible experience.

He talked to the owners and told them he wanted to belong to that company, he had a really hard time to get in.

If you´ve been in Starbucks and really look at it as what really is you´ll notice that it´s just a different establishment that any other and that formula is what gets people to comeback over and over.

Saying that you have an idea how hard it was for him to convince the owners on each and every detail of what it is now, Howard had many ideas and told them and every single time the answer was no, he had to fight so many times for every single though about Starbucks that he had so it could be aproved by the owners.

One of those ideas was to have people to drink coffee inside the shop as I mentioned you, they only sold coffee beans, when he finally convinced them they told him you´ll have your space on that corner, so it was a little tiny place with a small table.

Soon there were lines of people wating to be served the tasteful coffee and if you ever been in Seattle you know that to have a cup of coffee in that weather is the best thing you can do, now imagine drinking that delicious coffee and looking at the ocean and the landscapes that Seattle offers you, an unforgettable experience ah?

Schultz went to Italy and talked to the masters of coffee, he saw that there to drink coffee was a whole event, friends and family got together to talk about everything and nothing outside coffee shops and of course the Italians are experts making coffee, so Howard brang all the ideas from Italy and made Starbucks the empire that is now.

As the owners didn´t agree with Schultz in most of his ideas they finally sold their share to him and he took charge of the company.
