I bought this Impressive camera in 2014 as I needed a real though one, it had to be waterproof but not only that resisted the rain, I needed one that I could swim with, and also needed to have shock resistant capabilities, before I got it I did some reasearch on the NET and also found out that COOLPIX AW120 is freeze proof, which means it also works when frozen, it has built in GPS which I have used a lot, with this feature if you are in the middle of the desert you can know exactly where you are, which I´ve also done, also you can use the GPS feature to know where the pictures were taken if you are using your computer and are connected to the internet it gives you the coordinates of each picture that was taken with the camera.

My camera has fallen five times and the heighs have been 3 to 5 foot and IT IS shock resistant! Nothing has happened to it, it works like new! It has two little dents that are unoticeable unless you tell someone to look for them, also I have swam with it about four times and the water has never got in it.

I went to a Michael Bolton concert and I was about 45 feet away from him and used the zoom and I got clear video of him and I coukd cleasrly see the details of his face as the camera also has HD built on it.

Wi-Fi it´s convenient for people that wants to see the pictures on their smartphones, tablets or laptops and then upload them on their social networking sites, I have never used the Wi-Fi capability as I use the camera for work and use the cable that comes with it to download the pictures on the computer, the wireless mobile utility application has to be installed on the device where the pictures are going to be downloaded before it can be used.

The camera it´s small so I allways carry it on my pocket, I also like the look of it as when I bough it I had other options but the look of the other cameras I didn´t like.

I wanted to do and experiment to test it´s freezing capabilities so I put he camera in the freezer and left it there for an hour, after that I took some pictures and it worked just fine.

One very important thing is that the battery lasts long time without having to recharge it again, meaning months unless of course you use the video.

The micro USB input it´s extremelly strong and well built as I´ve use it 100´s of times and never had any problems with it as in other devices the inputs stop working with less than a hundred times of use.

I have taken 1000´s of pictures with it and the quality is still the same as when I bought it, all the special features that are freeze proof, water proof, shock proof and the GPS work like when it was Brand new.
