I consider to be very important when choosing software that the individual thinks how is going to be used, in my case I need a software that is easy in order to create logos, letters, modify pictures, design backgrounds and create image animations and Paint Shop Pro lets me accomplish just that. I´ve been using it since 2004, the version I started working with was Paint Shop Pro 7, I lost it and I switched to Paint Shop Pro 8.
I always use Paint Shop Pro to create many of the logos, pictures and images to use them in WEB pages that I create and design.
Most of the tools in Paint Shop Pro are on the left side panel of the program and they are just a click away from one another, special tools are on the top panel some of them are 3D, Art Media, Artistic, Distortion and Edge, also at the top panel you can find the Adjust tool, with this one you can easily manage to change Color Balance, Brightness and Contrast, Hue and Saturation to mention some, furthermore at the top is the Image button which gives you more options which I´ll mention some like Flip, Mirror, Rotate, Resize and of course there are more buttons at the top and on the right panels which each one gives you a wide range of choices. Paint Shop Pro is very fast, for any designs and creations I work with, I don´t have to wait when it processes the creation or changes on an image as many other programs do.
I have used other programs that I won´t be mentioning that take too long to open, also some of them when I installed them in other of my computers, they don´t let me work on them as they state I´m not the owner of it, then I have to contact the company and sometimes it takes days while they verify the information and then let me work on the other computer, in addtion these programs are complicated and their tools are hard to reach.
Paint Shop Pro also comes with Jasc Animation Pro included and this one gives you a variety of impressive animation elements you can work with.
